What I Wish Someone Told Me When I Started Practicing Witchcraft
Share
When I first stepped onto the path of witchcraft, I was full of excitement and questions—but also self-doubt. Am I doing this right? Do I need to follow a tradition? Where do I even start?
If I could go back in time, here’s what I’d whisper in my own ear:
-
There’s no "right way" to be a witch. Follow what resonates. Traditions can guide you, but you’re allowed to experiment and find your own rhythm.
-
Start small. Light a candle. Observe the moon. Keep a journal. Don’t feel pressured to dive in headfirst.
-
Ignore the aesthetic trap. Your practice doesn’t need to look a certain way to be valid or powerful.
-
Trust your intuition. If something feels off, skip it. If something draws you in, explore it.
-
You belong here. No matter your background, your past, your resources—this path welcomes you.
Witchcraft is not about being perfect. It’s about being present, curious, and connected.
